Welcome To Monkeynuts
IT WAS BACK IN '71 when we first got together. Gids wanted to open a bar but we talked him into becoming an international rock god with the rest of us instead. He plays drums by the way.
"The MonkeyNuts" took Crouch End by storm, who can forget the crazy summer of ’71 when “Monkey See Monkey Do” shot straight to number 27 in the charts! Ah, those were the days, but times change and so, 34 years, 20 albums and 60 changes of musical direction later, we finally listened to Gids, hung up our catsuits and
returned to our spiritual home to open the bar and steakhouse
we promised him all those years ago.
These days he organises everyone backstage, after a lot of persuasion,
we finally convinced Laszlo to join us, as we all know how great he is
working in the kitchen grilling great steaks and tossing salads.
Neil charms our locals and can't help singing a tune
everytime he takes an order.
